During the White House Eid Celebration, President Biden acknowledged that the Muslim community and public service have an integral role in this nation.  On Monday, he said “public servants across this country and across the administration are leading the work to address the challenges of our time.”

He further added, “I’ve said it from the beginning that my administration — and I meant it and I proved it — is going to look like America — look like America with Muslim Americans serving at every level.  And it does.”

“Muslim Americans in my administration have key roles in tackling the climate crisis, rebuilding our economy, safeguarding our health, restoring our alliances, and so much more,” the President added.

The President recognized that “making our own nation more equitable, more inclusive for Muslim Americans is an essential part of the enduring work to form a more perfect union.”
