Mosaic Welcomes New Board Members Sameer Hossain, Fatima Pashaei, and Tonika Sikder

Washington, D.C., April 6, 2022 -  Mosaic, the Muslim Federal Employee Association, welcomes Sameer Hossain, Fatima Pashaei, and Tonika Sikder, to the Mosaic Executive Board as an At-Large Members. They join Mosaic in their personal capacity.  

Mosaic President Razi Hashmi said, “we are looking forward to Sameer, Fatima, and Tonika joining the Mosaic team as they each bring unique skills and significant experience to the organization and its members.”

Sameer joins Mosaic in his personal capacity with 15 years of federal government service, including experience in international human rights and domestic civil rights and civil liberties. He is also a licensed attorney. 

While  joining in her personal capacity, Fatima comes to us with 17 years of experience at the U.S. Department of Energy, where she is currently serving as a budget supervisor.  She sees Mosaic as a place of community and advocacy for the tireless work of public servants in the federal government. 

Tonika comes to Mosaic with 18 years of experience in numerous disciplines ranging from budgetary to management and consulting.  She is currently working with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
